The truck is a nice black 1997 Ford F-150 XL. It was purchased from Montana Motors in Great Falls, MT..

From Kendra:

Current Mods:

My truck had the bug guard and bedliner and that was it when I bought her in 2001. Since then:
  • Kenwood CD Player
  • Steel Horse Center Console (for my straight bench)
  • Westin Sportmaster Grille Guard (black powder coat)
  • Manik Taillight Guards (black powder coat)
  • Penda Custom Cover
  • Ventvisor Wind Deflectors on the front and supercab windows
  • Stolen in June 2002 a few months after arriving here in lovely Phoenix! Replaced the Penda Custom Cover and got a Kenwood MP3/CD Player
  • NASCAR Hitch-Cover and Lock
  • APC Carbon Fiber Taillights
  • Ford Steering Wheel Cover
  • Ford Floor Mats
  • 40/60 Split Bench Seats
  • Removed vinyl flooing and installed carpet
  • Dashmat
  • Flowmaster 40-Series Cat-Back w/ single side-rear exit w/ 3" tip
  • K&N Air Filter
  • Acetoned my F-150 XL badges and Ford Emblem
  • Had a custom heavy duty set of leaf springs installed
  • Billet Grille

Future Mods:

I removed the bedliner and bedrail guards because I'm planning on having a spray-in put on. Once the spray-in is done I may or may not wait to put on the Putco stainless steel (not diamond-plated) bedrail guards. If wait, it will be to have my truck repainted because of all the Montana and Arizona pinstriping! I would like to do this myself but I probably won't because I don't want to screw it up but I'm going to have my design airbrushed on both sides, back, and hood (I want to get a cowl-induction hood). I will etch my designs on my rear window and both front and supercab windows. Add a leaf to my rear suspension to lift it up 1-2" and crank up the torsion bar and get the biggest tires I can and some wheels that will accomodate my design on my truck. Someday, I'd like to either get a 5.4L (Lightning engine would be nice!) put in or when I win lottery or a giant bag of money drops at my feet put in the biggest engine with the most horsepower and torque I can (incidently, the latter happens to me every night......in my sleep!).

What other Fords do you own or have owned?

In 1999 I had a 1992 Ford 1/2-ton, supercab, styleside. Had it for about a week and started having problems with it. Since the AF was/is all over that town and that company sold mostly to AF, they quickly got me into something else.

Other Comments:

Y'all are probably going to kill me for this but I'd love to get a '69 Camaro or Chevelle SS and restore it. I absolutely love those cars! 1969 was a great year! I'm 23, been in the AF since 1998. Been through a lot in my short life so far and my motivation and ambition continue to drive me to take the road less taken. I'm proud of the things I've accomplished and proud to serve my country. I enjoy living on my my own with my truck, horse, two dogs and cat. I love my artwork and hope someday to start a business with my designs. It's not that hard when you start at the bottom-you can see all the possibilities as opposed to starting at the top and having nowhere to go.
