The Truck of the Month for June 2003 belongs to Scott
Lambeth (a.k.a. f150freak in the
forums).

The truck is a sweet True Blue 2002 Ford F150 SVT Lightning. It was purchased at
Nichols Ford in South Fort Worth, Texas.
From Scott:
How do you like your truck?
I love my truck, so far out of all the trucks I have owned this one tops them
all in almost every way I can imagine. Performance, looks, handling, driving
comfort, etc....
What other Fords do you own or have owned?
Currently I do not have a second vehicle. But in the way of previous Fords I
have owned or been in possession of (starting with the first) is an 87 F150, 95
F150, 72 F100, 99 F150, 96 Ranger, and an 88 Mustang.
Current Mods:
Currently the mod list on my truck is not very big. It includes my Snuglid
with headliner, Bed rug, I have installed a Mustang Bullit fuel door, Razors
edge oil separator, Boost bypass mod, AutoMeter Lunar vacuum/boost gauge and
gauge pod, custom built Magnaflow exhaust system (including high flow cats) with Corsa 4" tips,
Accufab cast throttle body, Diablo delta chip, Razor's Edge Power tube, homemade
cold air induction, Hotchiks 1" drop springs, and a set
of 2" Beltech drop shackles.
Future Mods:
My future mod list for the most part is still in debate, but I do have some
things planned. I intend to have high flow cats installed,
extrude honed upper plenum, Hotchiks sway bar kit for handling, under hood wire
loom, powder coated under hood billet pieces, and an increase of 4 lbs in the
boost. That's about all that's on my list of mods to do for now. It probably
will grow in the near future.
What do you do?
Well, I am currently working for General Motors at the Arlington, Texas
assembly plant building the SUVs. Which includes the Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban,
Yukon XL, Z71 Tahoe and Suburban, and the Cadillac Escalade.
