Editorial Review:
Vroooom! This Ford F-150 4x4 off-road vehicle is
ready for racing! It features knobby oversize tires
for heavy-duty four-wheeling, digital proportional
steering, front and back brush guards, flashy rims,
a roll cage, differential gear, and front- and
rear-wheel suspension. The 9.6-volt rechargeable
battery pack is included. Just like a real
four-wheeler, it zips along on smooth surfaces or on
gravel, rocks, or sand, and takes bumps and minor
crashes in stride. This one isn't just for
youngsters, either: adults and teenagers are never
too old for this kind of toy! (We tried it out with
16- and 18-year-old test drivers. Their joint
report? "Cool.") An identical model with a different
radio frequency is available if you'd like two
vehicles to race against each other.
Editorial Review: With oversize tread
tires, chrome fuel tanks, a large front grill, a
slick black exterior, and a short hauling cab, this
remote-control Ford truck has everything a real
F-650 features, for ultimate bragging rights. The
15-inch-long vehicle can roll at two speeds, go
forward, backward, left, and right. The
remote-control handset features a conveniently
positioned off switch and two mini joysticks for
excellent control on turns and angles. The Crewzer
comes with an operator's manual, a 9.6-volt battery
pack, a four-hour quick charger, and one 9-volt
battery, which should be replaced by adults.
Electrically charged: not recommended for kids under
8 years.
