I put this in my 2005 5.4l 3v, I had the pcm reflash a while back threw ford, I went ahead with this programer, believe it or not I can tell the difference with this big time even after the tsb flash, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the extra HP, that is lost in your truck. The ease of updating on the edge website is a breeze, and installing it in your truck even easier. Highly recommend it...Try it. you wont regret it.

Instant MPG readout - makes me feel guilty getting on the gas!

I tow a trailer with my 5.4 Screw (2002) and wanted to firm up the shifts - this did that and gave a noticeable improvement in acceleration as well. I gained 2 MPG while towing - I'll give one of those MPG's the the Edge and the other to my "guilty foot feeling" watching the instant MPG go into the low single digits made me pay attention to my driving habits.

Awesome mod. Definitely can tell the gain in horses in my 2005 5.4 xlt. Feels like a different truck.

The Edge definately improved my soft shifting, but could not notice a peformance improvement at all. Tried software upgrades, contact with tech support, which was mediocre at best, to no avail. No mpg increase. Not worth the money to me. And likes to blank out my odometer, too. Another thing tech support says "It shouldn't do that."
