1997 & up Ford F150/F-250LD/Expedition/SuperCrew/Lincoln Navigator w/ 4.6 or 5.4 Triton SOHC 2V engines - Note: *Not* for the 5.4 DOHC 300 hp Lincoln Navigator, we have another AF1 kit specifically for that application.
This is a complete replacement air intake kit including new air filter element. Made of aircraft grade T304 stainless steel that is mirror-polished by hand, this is the ultimate in a true show-quality yet rugged intake kit. Made of the highest quality materials, the AF1 intake looks better under the hood than any other commercial kit. Even more important, the AF1 makes the most power, thanks to AF1's unique use of aviation-derived flow engineering.
Whether you want more power for your daily driver and/or tow vehicle, or for actual drag racing, etc., Air Force One delivers the maximum possible HP & torque gains that can be made via reduction of restriction in the air intake tract.
The Air Force One intake uses an inverted "ram" top S&B conical air filter that is 2 air filters in 1. It can take air in thru the top of the filter from the fresh air intake in the fender (on models so equipped from the factory), and take in even more air from it's entire length. Can easily support power levels of 500 HP.
If you are using a larger MAF (mass airflow meter), if need be we can also supply you with the correct adapter to mate a larger MAF to your Air Force One kit, for just slightly more cost, a few dollars. Power gains from this kit are approximately 15 HP on the 4.6 & 17-18 HP on the 5.4L V8 motors.

I put the AF1 intake on my 2004 STX a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. It looks great under the hood and the intake sound is really cool. I was averaging about 16.5 M.P.G in town and after my first tank with the intake installed it was up to about 18.2.

This thing is great. I notices a definate performance difference, but I installed it at the same time I reprogrammed the chip using superchips 1714 reprogrammer. I chose the high performance setting (requires 91 octane). It took about 30 minutes to install using simple tools. The finised product looks great and works great.
