Designed not only for looks, but for high performance, the CDA-7892 includes the Bass Engine® Plus set of features - including Digital Time Correction and Media Xpander. Need more power? It has 3 pairs of RCA outputs for complete system expansion. The 4V subwoofer preout is a perfect match for the new V12 AccuClass-D™ mono amplifers. The CDA-7892 is even compatible with XM Satellite Radio- simply add the optional receiver module and you will be enjoying coast-to-coast digital quality radio.

Pros:
Great product
Cons:
Prity bells and whistles
Had installed in my 1999 Taurus. It has the ability to kick up or turn downt the sub outpout with the touch of a button. It is great when you are listening to David Allen Coe, then tune over to some Snoop Dogg. You do not have to mess with the amp gain, or fumble through a bunch of settings. I have a 2003 F150 STX. It came stock with a Kenwood deck that has a buch cool back grounds like auto racing and swimming fish and stuff, but it does not compare at all to the sound quality that the Alpine has. Alpine does not care much about bells and whistles, they are more interested in sound quality. I will be installing the Alpine in my truck as soon as I am finished building my sub box.
