Quote:
A spinning house from the Wizard of Oz is the image most people associate with a tornado. But in the automotive world, TORNADO stands for a revolutionary device that enhances fuel economy and increases horsepower. With a TORNADO under the hood, your engine will be working at peak efficiency.
How Does It Works? Tornado is a non-moving turbine shaped device, which creates a vortex or swirling effect to the engine. The result is improved airflow into the engine's combustion chamber, causing a more efficient mixture between air and fuel. TORNADO fits most cars and will work in either a carbureted or electronic fuel injected engine.
Increase Gas Mileage
With increased gas mileage of up to 24 percent, Tornado pays for itself in a short time. See our payback schedule and discover how you can benefit.

Bought one for my ranger and one for the wife's police interceptor. It did not make a differance in the ranger at all. It did have a small positive effect in the crown Vic. Crown vic computer showed a +.2 MPG. Nothing on Ranger.

I used a tornado in my wifes old mitsubishi along with a K & N air filter. Gas mileage went way down but it unleashed a lot of power in that four cylinder. But i am not sure if it was not more so the K & N air filter or a combo of the 2.

While I didn't get my money back when I returned it I have to take blame for not insuring the package. The company stated that they never got it via USPS - who knows. They have Jouhn 3:16 stamped all over the box but it has been my experience that this means nothing. So, the end opinion is; It didn't work on my '97 F-150 and be sure that you insure it and send it certified mail in case...

The product itself

We tested one on a 350 CI Chevy on the engine dyno and lost! 15HP...then in the Monza...and mileage dropped. Not a good product at all.
