The kit features the ROUSH® air filter, air dam, and induction tube. Cold air induction is a more efficient air intake method than the standard air filtering process. As a result, cold air induction can unleash the latent potential in power and fuel efficiency that is normally restrained by your stock air intake. Air first comes into the Air Dam, which keeps out hot air from the engine compartment. The result is that the air entering the filter is cooler and dense, providing for a more potent air charge. The ROUSH air filter media is a synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters can’t capture. Based on SAE standards, ROUSH air filters capture almost twice the percentage of 2 micron particulates, and more than six times the amount of 0.5 micron particulates than our competitors’ filters. Furthermore, ROUSH air filters are constructed using the finest materials available today, featuring a hand-poured urethane body that won’t crack, curl or shrink like other rubber or plastisol units used by our competitors. ROUSH air filtration performance is second to none. All ROUSH air filters are 100% washable, reusable and feature a lifetime warranty. The ROUSH Cool Air Dam surrounds the filter, helping to keep out hot air from the engine, further maximizing performance. Once air passed through the filter, it is taken to the engine through a Modular Intake Tube (MIT) that can improve airflow up to 400 CFM over the restrictive stock intake tube. Made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, the MIT straightens out air flow by providing a smooth, unrestricted path that increases air flow to the engine. The kit includes all the necessary hardware, making it quick and easy to install. The "ROUSH" logo is also featured on the kit, thereby stamping your truck with the mark of the leader in automotive performance. As a result, this kit not only makes your truck faster, it makes it look faster when you open your hood. The Dual Remote System provides superior filtration efficiency, increased oil capacity and improved oil filtration accessibility. The Ea By-Pass Oil Filter (EaBP) provides the best possible filtration protection against wear and oil degradation. Working in conjunction with the engine’s full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filter operates by filtering oil on a “partial-flow” basis. It draws approximately 10 percent of the oil pump’s capacity at any one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants that full-flow filters can’t remove. The AMSOIL Ea Bypass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil. foxstep Mon, 19 Feb 2007 17:15:51 -0500 Monster Electric Fan http://www.fordf150.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=76

by: mjsecrist

Description: An electric engine-cooling fan built for the demands of your big truck, and then some. Utilizing a 2 piece system the SQ10 cone design is light, thin, and looks great. The cone makes the entire design work! This allows us to have great rearward clearance and great durability. (Patent Pending) Proprietary eD Landing Design FLEX braking technology is built into the spider but a perfectly designed and integrated spider landing puts the clearances just where they need to be. Through venting the spider assembly we also increase airflow to the voice coil. FLEX Spider Design The SQ10 benefits from 5 years of spider development in the Kv.2 and Ov.2 subwoofer lines. The FLEX design promises linear movement even during high output transients. Co-Linear Neodymium Motor The SQ10 features eD's Co-Linear 2.5" coil neo motor design. This motor is lightweight while retaining excellent drive unit efficiency. In such a small and light frame clearances are retained as well. Slim Surround Design The SQ10 features another proprietary part. It insures great displacement without extremely high excursion. Just another way we achieve great output in a slim profile. Large Voice Coil To reduce rocking while retaining a great power handling the SQ10 features a 2.5" voice coil. Coil windings are offered in both Single 2 and Single 4ohm options. Zero Triple Joint Assembly Trickle down technology is a wonderful thing. While the zero triple joint was originally designed for the extremely high excursion offerings even our new slim subwoofer benefits from our engineering evolution. Included Gasket We’ve tooled up another new gasket just for the SQ10. It creates a fantastic seal to your enclosure without the need for messy 3rd party sealants. Infinite Baffle Capable Even if your application is in a rear deck or doors (or anywhere else you can put a speaker) the SQ10 works fantastic in IB applications. Small Sealed Boxes Yes we've seen some of the boxes some of the 'other' companies want you to use with their slim subwoofers. What good is a small subwoofer if it can't be used in a small space? The SQ10 works in boxes as small as .3cF. Small Vented Boxes As small as .8cF for a vented box the slim 10 is one slim versatile solution! Have a single cab truck but crave output? Try a SQ10 in a vented box. 3 Year Warranty This product is covered by Elemental Designs industry leading 3 year warranty against manufacturing defects. All I can say is it sure is nice to have dry tools and not have to haul them into the garage or the hotel room each night. Anyway while it ain't 100% criminal proof I suspect it'd take a lot of dedication & hard work on the part of any misguided bad guy to get anything out of the bed. Only down side is that you can’t use the flip out the bed extender. Oh you can still use it but the Roll-Top-Cover requires that you remove the extender from the bed – then flip it manually and reinsert it. But that’s a minor inconvenient I can live with. Average power gains are in the 15-20 RWHP range. The Predators additional power makes itself noticeable immediately with an increase in power that starts in the low RPMs and builds into a frenzy at the high RPMs. A Predator equipped vehicle will notice significant improvements in drivability. The additional power and improved shift patterns created by the Predator tune will yield quicker acceleration and better mileage, whether it is in town or out on the highway. The power increase in the lower RPMs will yield a better throttle response. The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency, the improved timing curve and air/fuel ratio creates a more complete combustion, i.e. the engine extracts more power from each molecule of gasoline. What is the Predator? The Predator for 1999-2003 Ford V8 Trucks & SUVs is a state-of-the art high performance tuning flash programmer, which advances the timing and optimizes the air/fuel ratio. Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport’s programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. How is the Predator different from its competition? * The only flash tuner that allows for end user adjustability to the performance tune * The only flash tuner which accepts custom tunes directly from DiabloSport or from ChipMaster Revolution dealers that you can install yourself * The only flash tuner with built-in advanced diagnostic capability that displays fault codes along with descriptions of the code right on the Predator screen * The only flash tuner with built-in high speed data logging and monitoring capability that the competition doesn't even have * The only flash tuner with a true graphical display that's 300% larger then the competition's puny text only display * The only flash tuner running on a custom high performance, multi-threading KROS operating system Dyno Tested Performance Tunes DiabloSport has generated all dyno tested tunes. Predator tunes re-map the: * Fuel Curves * Timing Curves * Extend Speed Limiters * Extend Rev Limiters The default DiabloSport performance tunes require the use of Super Unleaded / Premium grade or 91 octane fuel. The DiabloSport performance tune can be modified to run on 87 or 89 octane fuel. Instructions on how to modify the DiabloSport performance tune for 87 or 89 octane are supplied in the manual. The Predator features end user adjustable parameters so the end user can customize his/her tune depending on other modifications done to the vehicle. Because we allow for timing and fuel adjustments the end user can optimize the tune for his/hers specific vehicle utilizing a dyno with proper air fuel monitoring and utilizing the Predators live data feature to monitor timing and other vital parameters. The F-series Predator allows the end user to adjust the following parameters: * Dual timing adjustment points (2000-4000 RPM / 4000-7000 RPM) * Timing table (+10% / -40%) * Dual fuel adjustment points (2000-4000 RPM / 4000-7000 RPM) * Fuel table (+40% / -15%) * Idle (+/- 20%) * Raise Speed Limiter * Rev Limiter * Re-Calibrate Speedometer for Gear and Tire Size Changes * Shift Pressure * RPM Shift Points * Torque Modulation (for better shift feel) * Rear Oxygen sensor disable (use for off-road vehicles only) * Disable EGR (use for off-road vehicles only) Diagnostics and Live Data Logging The diagnostic feature allows the end user to scan and erase fault codes as well as monitor live data while driving. Predator can read and erase fault codes, and contains all the Ford specific P codes. Predator diagnostics will work on all 1996-2003 OBDII Ford Mustangs or F-Series Gas vehicles. The diagnostics features can be used on any Ford OBDII vehicle, regardless if the tool has locked itself to a specific vehicle or not. Data logging is available as well. Logging stores 30 minutes of data, with slow rate the logging allows for up to 90 minutes. The log can be viewed in Predator, or it can be uploaded to PC for viewing with the FREE DiabloSport DAT Viewer for Windows software. danger_ranger_dude Mon, 20 Feb 2006 23:32:05 -0500 Bass Blockers http://www.fordf150.net/reviews/showproduct.php?product=53

by: danger_ranger_dude

Description: If you like it loud, protect your speakers from bass distortion and enjoy cleaner sound with Bass Blockers. Street Scene products are sold everywhere but using their site as a reference guide as to what fits works great. StlthF1 Wed, 07 Dec 2005 16:00:55 -0500
