A SLIGHT SHAVE HERE AND THERE TO THE K&N INTAKE. MOVED LOWER TRAY AND HARNESS A BIT AND THAT'S ABOUT IT. LOCK WIRED HARDWARE AND A RUN TO VF SALES TO GET AIRCRAFT/STAINLESS CLAMPS--RADIATOR CLAMPS BELONG ON SEWER LINES, NOT MY TRUCK. HAVE TO GO BACK AND OPEN UP THE INNER FENDER TO THE FOOTPRINT OF THE LARGER INTAKE BOOT. COLDER CHARGE AND MORE VOLUME AVAILABLE--DIDN'T DYNO TO DETERMINE. THE SMALLER BOX ON A 01' LIGHTNING WITH A 4" INLET IN THE BOTTOM DUCTED TO BELOW AND REAR OF BOTTOM VALENCE PRODUCED 6 HP--MAY BE MORE IF MOVING...NORMALLY ASPIRATED 5.4'S MAY NOT NEED THIS EXTRA RESERVE--BUT IT COULDN'T HURT--AND IT IS EASIER TO PULL FILTER.
