I'd have to agree on that I had mine loaded up like you couldn't belive a couple of days ago (wish I had my camera with me) with wood. I had it packed from front of bed all the way onto about 1/2 of the tailgate with wood ratche strapped down that was piled about 8 inches above cab heigh. Made the back about even with the front, the hill I had to climb to get outta the place we got it from had been slid off about a half dozen times and I went up it easily in 2wd. I am wiling to bet I was close if not past the weight rating of the truck (all baseball bat scrap from the bat factry) but it handeled it easily.
