I feel for you I have had that same thing happen to me and i was in that hole for 7 hours it was serious.

Hope you checked all your fluids for water. The hole may haunt you later on down the road ive seen it many times, Tranny, Rears, block

Yeah, I went the next week and had it all done. The front diff was full of it.
