A very interesting idea. I am assuming you painted the honeycomb. But with what? How are you going to insure that the paint stays where you want it to?
I have been considering getting a can of body colored Duplicolor to do that to mine, but not sure how to make it stick. Thinking about using that Krylon plastic primer...
