My 1998 Ford F-150NEW: Click here to see my subwoofer box installation!
I am the proud owner of a 1998 Ford F-150. I purchased the truck on April 14,1998 from Village Lincoln Mercury Sales in Moose Jaw, SK, Canada. It is a 4X4 with lots of options and accessories. It was my first new vehicle. I am very pleased with it. Here's the details on my truck:
To keep my webpage most up-to-date, my latest & greatest fuel economy numbers can be found at Eric Longman's Mileage Tracking Page July 2002 - Installed a Pioneer DEH-P740MP CD/MP3 player. It sounds awesome! Oct. 2000 - I installed a set of clear cornering lights & euro "altezza" taillights. Check them out here! June 2000 - I installed the amp I bought last month. It made a HUGE difference in the sound of my stereo. (now I can listen to it at an "acceptable" level. The only problem is that I keep getting headaches from it) May 2000 - I installed a set of Boston Acoustics RC61 6.5" component speakers. They improved the sound a great deal. I can't wait to the install the amp to give them some extra juice. The amp I have for it is nothing special, but it should get the job done. It is a Boss Audio REV-255. May 2000 - I just installed a Superchip. It's great for getting more power out of the 4.6L. For more details, click here to go to the Superchips website. Since purchasing the truck, I've added a Ford brand bug deflector, step sill guards, moulded splash guards, a locking gas cap, moulded running boards, a boxliner, and carpet & rubber "Ford" floor mats. I've also added a B&M Electronic Shift Kit (has since been removed), Cloud Rider stainless steel grille & bumper inserts, a K&N air filter, a Flowmaster 50 series muffler, Ventvisors, a Delta Champion Toolbox, and the Autogard anti-theft marking system (unique number etched into all windows). Also, I've drilled eight 3/4" holes in the airbox. This didn't make a big difference in power, and I plan on cutting the airbox more open in the future. (Similar to the K&N FIPK design). I have also removed the air intake silencer using the donated instructions that are now hosted on this site. Standard Features (taken from window sticker)
Options (taken from window sticker) Note all prices are in Canadian Dollars
