1982 Ford Mustang

My 1982 Mustang was my first car. I got it when I was 17 for $1.07 (including tax). Boy did this car get (ab)used ;-)

Here's the details on the car:

• 1982 Ford Mustang L sedan
• 2.3L OHC 4 cylinder engine
• 4 speed manual transmission
• Removable sunroof
• 14" steel wheels & a couple of hubcaps

When I bought the car January 13,1993, I had to put some money into it. The left taillight was broken, and the drivers seat was hanging through the floorboard. The car was pretty rusty underneath. The odometer stated 28,008 km, and I think that was actually 228,008 (there was no 6th digit on the odometer). I also changed the following after buying the car: air filter, fuel filter, air intake hose, heater hoses, radiator cap & hoses, the rear tires, the shifter knob, and the antenna. The plates & insurance for the car were $399.

I later sold the car on September 20, 1993 for $550 cash to someone else named Kelly.

Here are the only four pictures of the car that I ever took. I took these before I actually owned the car. This is near the back of the car lot. The funny thing is, is that I bought this car from the same dealership that I bought my truck from!
