Ford VIN Decoder

VIN stands for Vehicle Identification Number. It is a 11-digit sequence of letters and numbers that is basically your vehicle's serial number. It is unique to your vehicle. No other vehicle in the world will have the same VIN. It can be found on the rear face of the driver's side door.

4. Remaining six characters - 100001 - This is a numeric code for the vehicle build sequence. In some cases there could be two letters and four numbers.
