The below exact Descriptions and Picture is taken from the Ford 2003 F-150 Showroom Brochure. This is the Initial Post to this thread expressing the description of the 2003 F-150 Heritage Edition, as intended by Ford Motor Company.

If you have one of these, please post here (pics, experiences, location, mileage, etc., etc.). I would like to get as many of the 15,000 produced to post as possible.

Image

"On the outside, it's a respectful nod to all the F-Series trucks that have gotten the job done, decade after decade. The look is classic, with its two tone paint, special wheels and commemorative badging (a). On the inside, the classic two-tone continues with unique contoured seat trim (b) in a choice of three accent fabrics color keyed to the exterior. It took 100 years to make this F-150 Heritage Edition, but we think you'll agree it was worth the wait."

"2003 Heritage Edition F-150 Specifics - Available on 139" WB XLT SuperCab Styleside only. Includes front black 40/60 split bench with accent color inserts (captain's chairs are optional), chrome grille surround with black honeycomb grille insert, chrome tubular cab steps, unique black "F150" front floor mats with rear floor mat, 17" 5-spoke aluminum wheels (4), unique two-tone paint treatment and tape stripe, unique badging, black Ford bedliner, clear lens headlamps, park lamps and fog lamps, and accent colored lower bumper valance."

Thanks, I've only had her for a week and can't believe the comments I get on her. I still can't believe there were only 15,000 of these made; and most don't even know about the 2003 F150 "Heritage Edition". Most think a "Heritage Edition" is the 2004 "Heritage". -- Big Difference...

Only thing I would change on it is the chrome grill. If it was that black color I think it would look so much better.

I've only ever seen 1 or 2 of these. I can recall one of them was in Duncan, OK at the courthouse a few years ago.

I'm loving this truck. I can't believe the comments I get on her. I am trying to get this truck the true recognition she deserves, as there were only 15,000 produced and it was the 100th Year Anniversary.

Check out my post here, F150Online, and F150 Forum. Add some pics of yours. I'd like to see how many of the 15,000 we could get to post.

I didn't even know these were made. Learn something new everyday. I love the two tone paintjob. You sound as proud as me for owning a rare truck. Good luck trying to find other owners. Just 3,000 of my truck were made in 98, and only about 20 owners ever came to this site, and only a handful still come around. Does your truck have any special documentation? Like, number 250 out of 15,000? My NASCAR doesn't have any special documentation, although the NASCAR package had a special order code, and luckily I have the original window sticker since she was just a year old when my dad bought it from a friend..

Kinda neat- you have the 100th Anniversary of Ford, I have the 50th Anniversary of the F150 & NASCAR.

Anyway, nice truck! Love the rare ones.

No special documentation. I ordered the 2003 Sales brochure and have been starting threads trying to track them down. It too, like yours, had a special order code.

Yes, like you I am proud to own one of the rare ones. I love the two-tone and get comments on it all the time. They were offered in three different two-tone schemes Black/Tan, Black/Burgundy, and the Black/Dark Shadow Grey.

With only 15,000 produced I'm still trying to check if that was 5,000 of each color.

bought mine used in 2006. There are two in Fairbanks AK both burgandy and black. I have been looking for info on how many were produced. Mine has about 60,000 on the odometer. Unfortunatly has a few dings as I use it to get to hunting spots as well as regular driving but try to take care of it as best as I can.
