OK, I just got my truck this week. I want to take out the factory radio, and install a new aftermarket radio. I have the dashkit, but no wiring harness. I have done several radios without one, but I just need a wiring diagram for the old radio. I see the dealer re-installed the stock unit because I see splices on the wiring harness in the truck.
Any help would be appreciated.

So, a previous owner cut and spliced an aftermarket radio into the factory wiring? Why would anyone do this? Since the dealer reconnected the factory radio plug back in for you, go to any radio installation shop, or even WallMart, and get a "factory to aftermarket" radio wiring harness. It will set you back about 10 to 12 bucks, but well worth it. This harness plugs directly into the factory radio plug, and the other end wires are color coded and described in the instructions that come with the harness for connecting to an after market head unit.
Don't cut the factory wires and splice into them; foolish, very foolish.
If you insist, here they are, but I cringe when I hit the "send" key.
12V at all times - green/purple
Ground - black/LT green
Ignition 12V (key on) - pink/black or green/yellow
Illumination - blue/red
Factory amp turn on - green/purple
Left front speaker (+) - orange/LT green
Left front speaker (-) - blue/white
Right front speaker (+) - white/LT green
Right front speaker (-) - green/orange
Left rear speaker (+) - grey/LT blue
Left rear speaker (-) - tan/yellow
Right rear speaker (+) orange/red
Right rear speaker (-) brown/pink
I'd also suggest you buy a Chiltons (or comparable) repair guide that has all the wiring diagrams and codes, but if your "cheaping out" on the aftermarket wiring harness, you'll not want to buy a repair guide as well!
I have been to about 5 stores in my area, and no one has the harness I need. I could get it online, but I have some spare time today to get it done. Before they made aftermarket harnesses, I installed plenty of wires.
Its easier with the harness, but I am not afraid to do it the 'old' way.
It took me forever to find a dash kit too. I happened to wander in to one of the 'going out of business Circuit City stores and found one just sitting there and cheap. They didn't have the harness either though.
Thanks for the diagram.

Adding a pic to the wiring table is certainly a help. If it were me, I'd order that harness online and wait those few days. I've seen the harnesses at Wallmart (you just gotta have one of those close by!), Target, and any radio installation shop worth its salt has them.
