Ford F150 - Fan Clutch

occasionally when i am accelerating my fa will continuously be on, someone i know told me he thinks it's the fan clutch. does anyone know of how much and what kinda work would have to be done to fix this problem?

happened to mine about a month ago. new one from orielys 70bucks. had to use a air hammer to get it loose from the water pump. but not a big deal

thank you jacob, i'm gonna have to take a look at it tomorrow after work. why was the air hammer needed?

the fan can stay on while accelerating it is controlled by temperature. when the engine is hot the fan stays on
