Ford F150 - Seven Years Old Today!

I can't believe this site has existed as FordF150.net for seven years as of today. Time flies when you're having fun! The site has actually been around a bit longer than that, but prior to being FordF150.net, it was under GeoCities.com and other free web page providers. So the site is probably closer to eight years.

My how the site has grown. I added the forums in May 2001 and now there's over 74,000 members. Thanks to you guys there are over 20,000 photos in the photo galleries, over 50 technical articles, $1,200,000 worth of mods in the mods database, and so much more.

This site has continued to grow, and each year we add more and more. Here are some of the highlights since I last posted them:
- Nearing 75,000 members (will reach that this month)
- Gave away hundreds more free decals (you didn't even have to pay for postage!)
- Got new sponsors such as K&N, Edelbrock, Edge Products
- Added tons of 2007 & 2008 model year content (F150, Super Duty)
- Added 5+ technical articles
- Saw a 44% increase in traffic to the site from Feb 06 - Feb 07

Now it's getting late so I may be able to add more tomorrow.

Here's to the next 7 years!!

Kelly, Congrat's. The site is great. Is there any way for you to tell how many "active" members there are? Maybe if the person has posted in the last 3 months lets say? 75,000 members is cool. Also how many fanatic members? That would be neat to know too.

RR, I'm not sure how many are "active". Some sign up and never post, some sign up and post once, etc. You can see who the top posters are by viewing the Memberlist and sorting it.

You know it doesn't seem that long ago we only had 5,000 members, then 10,000. Now ya got 74,000+.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, "This the best damm F150 site there is".
