I bought mine on August 27th and I've found that most aftermarket on-line catalogues don't have anything listed for 2010 F-150s yet. I've been wondering if 2009 5.4L 3V components will fit. I'm looking for the quick, easy and cheap things first: cold air intake, long-tube headers, free flow cats and muffler...
I'm sure i can try out some 09 parts opn it my dad has a truck outfitting business and he does everything so i will try some will post some pics tonight
hey guys, I just purchased a 2010 that isnt even built yet. I am in afganistan. anyway do you think that i should get the 6.2 or stick with the 5.4 also will the 6.2 have the same support for supercharging that the 5.4 has? i pick the truck up in july of 2010. still got time

The 5.4L doesn't have any support for supercharging in the 09/10's, so it can't be any worse, lol. The 6.2L won't need to be supercharged anyway, it'll have 400HP. A supercharger will be for those who want to be a part of the SC'd club. That being said, there will probably be several aftermarket performance parts for the 6.2L to up the power a bit over stock.
I wouldn't bother getting the 5.4L if the 6.2L was available. I also wouldn't pay that much for the Raptor when I could build it as good or better with a regular F150 and add the parts myself for cheaper.
there are parts starting to pop up for th 09 6 lift kits grills etc and more on there way check it out at f150mania and we will have a new set of Fox shox Rpator style triple bypass position sensing super shocks for the 09 F150 they are being manufactured as we speak and will be released any day now according to Fox thanks f150mania
as to building a Raptor style F150 , Ive built lots of ford trucks over my 60 years I have been looking at putting together a "Raptor" kit for the std F15o this kit would include, 3 inch longer "A" frames, wider rear axle with ARB locker, tranny kit, wider fenders, front and rear with flares, supercharger or turbo, bigger wheels and tires,Fox shocks, bigger exhaust systems and more, sounds real good huh? well here's the bad news even after all that you still would not have the suspension travel,or all the great electronics and have modified F150 that you would never get what you have put into it when you sold it and as far as your truck warranty you can kiss that good by too. BUT. if your like me you don't care about things like that. So being a ford nut my self I can understand what your saying. I loked at the bottom line for cost on all of this kit "you ain't gonna like it.....some where along the lind of 20 to 25K to do all of this, add that to the cost of the truck and what do you have? oh around 55 THOUSAND DOLLARS and that not including your time to put all f this together and after you done all this will you even take it off road? go buy the Raptor 38k add a 5 to 10k turbo or supercharger and you have a killer truck and with a warranty too. make sense? no support for the 5.4 super charger? where ya been? I've talked to several manufactures of supercharges for the 5.4 f150 in 09-10 trucks here are a few under development as to other mods and accessories there are tuners on there way, along with dres up stuff and other performance products, most have held off due to R and D costs but they are coming around I try to stay in touch with these folks. Ill keep you guys informed as to when what and where thanks Dean f150mania
