Ford F150 - Seen Raptor Up Close

I went to the truck race at Kentucky Speedway this weekend. The race is sponsored by Ford. The had a blue Raptor there for everyone to see. Really sweet truck. This one had some red dirt under the hood still and it had the 5.4L in it. They also had a cut-away platinum F-150 there and it had the 6.2L in it. Said powered by ford on the valve covers and also had stickers on it that told where it was built and that it was a prototype.

I saw a blue Raptor up close in February at the Toronto auto show... I think it had the 5.4L also... I might be able to find some pics for you guys...

as for pictures i didnt have a camera and when we went down to the trailers i had a few miller lites by that time from tailgating. lol

I parked next to one last weekend up in Northern Wisconsin and it was badass! I have a few pics that i'll post later but I didnt want to go snooping around because it was someones truck, ya know?

Ohh yea, it was a white one without the Raptor paint kit. Almost didnt notice it from the back because it kinda looks like an 09, but the badges give it away.

I live next to a dealer and on my way home tonight I spotted a red SVT Raptor. I pulled in as the new owner was getting in and getting ready to leave. I asked him if I could take a look and he said thats fine.
A nifty machine. Huge wheels, sits high and he had the 6.2L (didnt think those were out yet).

The new vents are functional and I noticed the truck has tiny marker lights on it(front and rear).
You can see them here, never noticed it before.


The rear tow hooks liik sweet too.
Big blue fox racing shocks stand out as does the skid plate. Not a huge fan of the step bars.

they have one at our ford dealerships as well. to tell you the truth its a sweet lookin machine and i wasnt a huge fan to begin with. however they told me the 6.2 wont be available until late next year. it was all black and SICK. interior was black and red leather, center shift console. very clean. price tag was 51k! like i said......WAY too much to pay for a truck thats not too much better than mine as is

wow i just bought the RAPTOR... i dont know what that dealership is thinking but i am only paying 37,646 and i got eveything u can get on it except the moon roof cause well i dont need it lol again wow!!!
