That idea got blown away in the wind!
I priced the Ford OEM Factory Step Bars that the 2010 Raptor uses to buy and install on my 2009 F150 FX4, they are available but for $1100
Thats too much!
ummm yea, I have this crazy idea to transform my current 09 F150 to look like the Raptor
who will be the first to trade in his 2009 F150 for the 2010 Raptor?
I keep reading the 2010 Raptor will be at the Ford Dealers May-June 09, and I ride past the mega Ford Dealer everyday and I have 2 inside people that work there that will call me and let me know as soon as they come in.
I should get a good trade in price for my 09 F150 FX4 with only 1300 miles

Why did you buy an 09 if you wanted a Raptor?
because I can, this may sound strange but the major reason why I bought a 09 is just to pi** off another Ford Dealer,,,, and he will really hate me more if I traded in my 09 for a 2010 Raptor, and the thrill and excitement of driving that Raptor to that "other" Ford Dealer just to rub his nose in it would be worth it!
Its a long story, but in 2003 this one Ford Dealer refused to wait on me and never took me serious that I wanted to buy a new truck and I have been making sure HE KNOWS what a mistake he made sticking his nose up to me!

Cycle rider, I posted a question regarding those bars. Do you know if they'll fit yours? I;ve got an 07 FX4 Extendedcab and I figured they would mount the same. The dealer I checked at quoted me 1,236.00

the daytona auto mall did the same thing to me and my son when we were looking at trucks they were all standing by a tent and i said HEY ASSHOLES DO YOU WANT TO SELL A TRUCK OR NOT THEY ALL STARED AT ME IN AMZMENT THAT I WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT

I spoke to a friend who found out that the step bars are only available as replacements right now. If you were to order them you could only get the bars themselves. In about 3-4 months a kit will be available which will include all the necessary hardware and they should retail for 500-600.00
