Get me going?
You spent $4100 on a stage 2 Pro Comp kit

lol. shoulda saved urself alot of headache and taken that cash and went sfa. ifs is WAY too sketchy especially for that much $. enjoy replacin cvs and steering compenents for the rest of your trucks life
some people would rather have a sfa but dont want the diesel. and what are you going to do?...buy a 250 with a 5.4 in it. i think it would be a little bit underpowered especially once all the tires are put on
Opinions are like assholes buddy, everybody has one. I know lots of people who run different set ups and the only problem I have ever heard from Pro Comp is a bad set of steering knuckles and Pro Comp sent new ones and covered the labor at a local 4 Wheel Parts location.
Having to replace CV's and Steering Components prematurely is something you may have to deal with when you lift a truck but you are going to have that problem with all lifts and "for the life of your truck" is a really weak statement. Once in the life of my truck isn't bad at all, if you are trying to slander a good product at least try and use correct derogatory statements.

so your tryin to tell me that a lifted truck with ifs is more durable and will require just as much maintenance as a sfa with a 4 link suspension? or even just leaf packs? really?

no. but ur correct i reckon replacin a steering knuckle is no huge issue....k. and just so you know, you will replace many more cvs and other components (i.e. ball joints) more than just once. the stock components just arent built to last with that much weight and stress. go ahead and try to be hard headed and say your point, everybody has opinoins, yours just happen to be wrong.
ps- i wasnt bashing pro comp. they make a good product. im just sayin for the cash i would of gone a different route
