Ford F150 - location of Resistor pack on blower motor

Have the parts but before I start any quick hints on where to find it and how to remove it. 1998 f150 xlt.

According to the Haynes manual, the motor resistor asssembly is located on the blower motor housing under the right side of the dash.

There is also a good description of the blower motor and circuit along with a test proceedure in the manual. You can pick one up at your local parts house.
