Ford F150 - Fog Light Mod

I just completed the foglight mod on my 98 f150. I dont have autolamps but did have the fog lights. You still have to trim the switch the same, but i had 3 connectors on the back verses the two in the instructions. As for wiring there are two white w/black stripe wires on the third connector(Its a four prong connector almost behind the dimmer switch). You will need to cut both of these wires. One of them goes to the headlights the other to the foglights. Use a splice connector and connect a wire from the Brown wire in the first connector (all the way to the left!!!)You can find out which white wire is which by holding the newly connected wire to each of the white wires individualy (When you do this you will need to have your switch pulled out and in the parking position) Either the headlight or fog light will go on depending on the wire. Connect the new wire from the brown wire to the white wire that controls the fog lights. The other white wire that went to the headlights just cap off. I can now turn my foglights on when the parking lamps are lit. Also when i have the highbeams on the fogs still stay on too.. Hope this helps anyone trying to do this!!
