I have an86 Ranger Long cab/2.9 with dual tanks. I am having a fuel flow problem. Truck will not start, due to lack of fuel. Just replaced heads, have replaced hi pressure pump and filter. Truck had been sitting for about 1 yr when I got it. Have driven truck occassionally on short trips. It would run fine and occassionally just quit, after tow home and about a day later it would start and run fine for a while. It backfired once when I tried to start it, hence the major work, it kicked out three pushrods and when I tore it down I found cracked heads. After work it started and run good. 2 days later I can't get to started, sprayed carb cleaner in intake, it tried to fire. No appearant fule pressure. Open to all ideas?
