Ford F150 - 96 Ford Ranger 3.0 high idle

My son has 96 Ranger that idles at 2100 RPM
Just replaced two injectors and was told replace IAC, disconnect battery and computer will reset.
Did this but no luck.

Took to another mechanic who said Intake manifold leak. Could the new IAC be bad or ??

Not so familiar with these engines, but generally vacuum leaks can cause high idles, a manifold leak would be a vacuum leak, but check the vacuum lines for cracks.
