I have verified that I have the 4.0 in my 2004 Ranger. Does anyone have the diagram for the serpentine belt? Also, any tips on replaceing. I have replaced these before in my jeep. Not sure how to the loosen the tension on the Ranger.

Thanx!!!!!!!

The truck was repainted. There is no sticker on the radiator cowl.

Thanx!

Don't know if they changed much on the 4.0 from '98 to '04, but the tensioner has a square hole in it to accept a 3/8" drive wrench. Rotate it... one way or the other. I don't have my Ranger documentation in front of me and going off of memory nor do I have my Ranger with walking distance (65 miles).

Thanks! If you can share the belt diagram at some point that would be great.
