Ford F150 - kicks out when i pin the throttle

Hey guys just bought 06 f-150 spr crew 5.4 triton , when i floor the throttle , I spin out for maybe 3 secs and then it cuts out like the tranny jumps to a higher gear or as If I lay off on the throttle , any body experince this ? and if so what is the cause ? :rambo:

Probably just the rev limiter

Exactly what I thought. Rev limiter. Get an Edge and you can fix that!

It's the built in tire-were protector. In the event of excessive tire spinning and rubber flinging it will upshift allowing full traction and saving your tires resulting in total forward thrust!

With the current Gas prices here in Canada, im surprised you can afford to "floor it" lol

Alberta's got tons of oil, kind of like Canada's Iraq. Maybe we should invade them?
