I just recently switched to a lightning 2001 it had intake and a loud exhasut bassani i think their called.. n ways i race my lightning today and was not impressed.. lol if any of guys can help me out to gain much hp.. will it hold an 80 shot of wet nitrous.??

You arent impressed with a 13 second 5500 pound truck? Id venture to say that not much will then. But you might try a set of overdrive pullies for the supercharger and a custom tune from Troyer performance. The whole motor in the lightnings is forged i belive so it should hold some nitrous. Id stay below 80 tho....

an oil nseperator, #4 lower, a tranny valve body, traction bars, a MAF or MAFia, a good tune, upgraded heat exchanger, colder plugs, a lil' weight loss and the truck can be faster yet




I bet your intercooler hasn't been cleaned in a while either

I would have to agree with tarajerame............ stay away for the nitrous on a boosted motor. Just make sure it's in good shape and bring up the boost a bit and then get it to the ground. Will see a noticeable improvement!!
