hey just have to share this story..i was sitting at hoem ad got a call from a buddy he was hauling lumber and his tailgate snapped and dumped his load all over the 4 lane road....well me being the good friend I had to go help....but just for the record this guy is now if for a world of hurt at work...since when i bought my new truck he told me that when i needed it his Chevy would tow me home.........Guess it wasn't me that needed the help......its gonna be a long next week for him at work

There was a recall on many of the 99 and up GMC and Chevy trucks for something having to do with the tail gate. Sounds like his tail gate may have not gotten the recall work done.
