I designed one for my windshield I haven't had it printed yet... It's gonna cost around $65. But because I have alot of superman decals incoporated into my mods, I came up with a windshield banner that readS FORD F-150 (Superman Logo) SUPERCREW all to be printed in Grey Metallic Flake. My truck is Dark Shadow Grey. I will be having it printed as soon as the weather gets warmer around here. We have been below 30 degrees for a while now. sometimes in single digits. You wouldn't think Philly gets as cold as it does. We had a 1 1/2 foot of snow 2 weeks ago.

I was thinking of putting a windshield sticker on but there are two problems, first I have yet to find one that makes me say "That will fit right in", second is the fact that if I was to put one on there it would be in my line of vision.
Some work well with the truck but most are just ugly/dumb/wrong.

Actually the view of where your windshield ends on the inside is not the same as it is on the outside, your outer windshield is actually is higher than it looks. You have more than enough room if you have it installed on the outside.

Thats why I hate them. Even tho I am a huge Superman fan, Putting the make and model across your winshield is what gets me. I can tell you are driving an F150 without a big decal on the winshield.

As a designer, I had to find a way to get the wording to fit properly. I didn't do it to show that I was just driving a Ford F-150, I wanted to create a decal that would fit across the ENTIRE WINDOW. I guess people can tell we are driving a Ford F-150 without putting the FORDF150.NET STICKER ON OUR TRUCKS TOO? But I guess it is ok with you when you make money on it though?

make money on what??? Dont take offence to it, everyone likes things diffrent and this is an opinion post. I have the little FordF150.net sticker on my back window to support the site, but in no way am I making any money. Now let me tell you I like the superman decal idea but not the wording. But to each their own thats why freedom is great.

I guess I responed to aggressively, I have a few Superman decals, tastefully placed on my truck. I am not planning on the front lettering of the window to be blairing white. It will be a dark grey color with metalic flake in it allowing it to be seen and sometimes not depending on the angle you view it. I am waiting to install my new Tires and RIms to finally post pics, I will be able to show what I have done to create a true SUPERCREW.
I have to remember this is a sight about opinions, and expressing ideas.

Hey no problem. I havebeen trying to figure out a way to incorperate a few superman symbols on my truck for a while now, but can not seem to find out how. I will have to take a look at your gallery to see what you have done. i have seen a set of small chrome ones that would go under the F150 emblems on the side I might get but we will have to see.

I'll be posting those pics very soon, as soon as the tires are put on. I wanted to show a comparison between the old tires and new tires. I've got Superman silver floormats, Custom Designed Superman air freshner. Etched Superman Logo between the Speedo and Tach, Custom Designed Superman 4x4 Decals, Superman Chrome Rear Liscense plate, Custom Designed Front Superman Liscense Plate, Superman Hitch Cover - have to get my hitch though. Etched Superman Logos below each of my F-150 Decals. All done tastefully, they are not red and yellow, mostly grey to silver to follow my Dk Shadow Grey Paint.
I haven't seen those small chrome ones you mentioned. I'll have to keep looking.

Anything that's too big is just retarded. I have a Harley Davidson Decal that I'm gonna put on my windshield. It's only about 5" tall and about 3/4 of the lenght of the windshield.
Yeah, ugh...Those Old English style letters on the glass are probably the worst thing I've ever seen.
