Well, im pretty sure it is time to replace the front shocks on my 93. Now what im looking for is something that will give it a fairly decent ride. Of course i dont expect it to ride like a cadillac. Oh and also something that is of decent price. What would you guys recommend?

Rancho makes a decent shock that's reasonably priced. Most places on the net you buy 3 and get one free.

I bought some gabriel shocks for my wifes suv. They are horrible. I wont ever buy gabriel shocks again. They seem really stiff. You feel every bump in the road. They were inexpensive, and in this case I got what I paid for.

Your springs should be alright. If anything, you could put the add-a-leafs in the rear for heavy loads.

I've had Rancho RSX on my 1/2-ton trucks and I recommend them.
