Ford F150 - 1996 f150 Keyless remote

I bougt a 1996 F150 xlt a couple month ago.
Did they came in 1996 aready come with a factory keyless remote? Where can I find out?

Not stock, but available. I don't know where to look on the later trucks.

Likely, your truck does not have the factoty remote entry option. My 2000 XLT did not come with it. I'm really unsure exactly how to find out. The dealer might be able to run a test with their equipment...or maybe you could try cycling the ignition to see if your door locks activate. But this test may not work for a 1996.
Power door locks are a good start for keyless entry, but my guess is that you don't have it.

No, you can't detect '96 RKE thru the computer, and it isn't connected to the lock cylinders, so turning the key in the door has no effect on it.
