The avatar issue is known. I'm trying to figure that one out. I can't even upload a new avatar...

As with any big change it will take some time to get used to. If you have any specific suggestions for improvement I will consider them.

once the avitar gets fixed, i think this will be a much nicer layout. being able to see a little bit of the post on the front page and not having to guess what it is about from just the title (b/c lets admit, some people are a little vague)...

I was wondering is it possible to set up the forums so when you put your cursor on the subject you will be able to read the first line of the post or at least most of it.I have seen that on some forums,i have no idea what's involved, just a suggestion.

That has been fixed. The ad is only supposed to show up for guests and I guess it got messed up with all the little "tweaks" I've been doing behind the scenes.

It's all good now. Now if only I could get the avatars working right again... the upgrade tonight might help.... we'll have to wait and see.

firebug, that shouldn't be. Try deleting your cookies and login again. It should remember you. Also when you login check the box labeled Log me on automatically each visit.

I kinda like the new format but have only spent a few minutes on here since the change but it seems pretty user friendly, will just take some getting used to. Still the same good content as always. Can live without the avatars, mine was a coupla yrs old anyway, time for a new 1 I guess.

Is anyone else having login problems? What browser are you using? Try another browser and see if it keeps happening. I deleted my cookie too to see if I'd have problems and I'm not having any login problems.
