Post subject:  My stock radio and an IPOD.

I have an '04 F-150 with the 6 disc in-dash CD changer. On the front, there is an AUX button when pressed shows 'no aux audio'. Does this mean I have an auxilary input on the back of the radio that can be used to plug up my IPOD or does it mean I just don't have the option?

And also, I've looked thru the how-to's but don't see an article on how to take out the radio. Does anyone have a helpful link?

Thanks!

You can't plug the ipod directly in...

...but you can get this: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrd04aux.html

...then this: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/pieunipod.html

and your ipod will be connected, and be able to charge it!!

Try this, http://www.crutchfield.com/S-nCj6eptSQ4 ... bfljFYjgzy

Follow the steps & it will tell you what will need to hook your IPod up to your stereo.

If you have factory stock or after market they seem to have what it takes.

Ford now offers something on one of their websites, here it is actually.....I'm thinking about getting it but I'm not sure what it does exactly, I've already got an FM transmitter for my iPod.
