Anyone have any input on upgrading the OEM tires to a larger off road tire? Problem is GoodYear, Toyo dont have the right rim sizes (18's) all seem to be 17's. Also looking to do it without a lift kit installed.

I have Cooper Discoverer S/T's on my truck. They do great in mud/snow, and pretty good on wet roads. They do make a lot of noise but I kind of like that, sometimes I turn the radio down just to hear it. ;) I also have had BFG all terrains, pretty decent tire. And for a cheapie tire, Regul makes one called the trailblazer which I have also had, they did great as far as tire wear and traction and were only 70 a tire but that was at cost for the tire store I use. As far as the 18" wheel size, can't help you to much there.

The BFG AT/KO's are a good tire, I have a set on my H1,and if you rotate them every 3k to 5k miles (oil change)they should last you at least 60k miles, some guys i worked with in Cali run the BFG AT/KO's and they are getting between 70k and 80k miles if you have the automatic wheel balancers it will help you get better tire wear also. I will be upgrading the sneakers on my F150 with Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO's, a buddie of mine has them on his F150 4*4 and he likes them, so I though i'd give them a try.
