alright i have spent a good part of my free time looking around for tires. i have narrowed my choices down to the bfg's all terrian and the firestone m/t's. now i know that a lot of ya'll have the a/t's and you guy's and gals love em. was wondering if anyone has any experiance with firestone m/t's. i have really only heard good things about both. i do mild to little off roading but want the aggressive look. also with wheel spacers; i haven't found this answer, good or bad addvantages and disadvantages. just want to make sure i know really what i am getting into here. if any one has any input that would be nice thanks

The Firestone Destination MT's are awesome if that's what you are talking about. I have friends running those, very good looking tire. I actually shopped around for those but they don't have them for a 17" rim here. I can't tell you how they wear though.

I am running BFG AT's, awesome tires too.

I think both tires are awesome.

I would really like to try out the Firestone Destination M/T's, but they don't make them in 35's yet. I talked to Corporate to find out when and if they would be making them and the guy said maybe in March, but he was going to a meeting that week to find out for sure. I'm going to call him back on Monday and get the scoop.

The BFG's are my second choice only because I have some friends rolling them and I'd like to have something a little different.

I put spacers on mine, but you need to be careful with the one's you put on. I have heard from many people not to put the thin one's on. Like the Mr. gasket ones you find at your auto parts store, because they tned to loosen up. So I found a company that makes some really nice spacers. The spacers bolt to your wheel studs, and then you bolt the wheel to the spacer. The spacer has wheel studs itself. Depending on how thick you want them depends on the price. My oppinion is, there worth it! The company's web site is www.performancewheel.com, very good customer service also.
