Hey guys! I'm broke, but a little birdie told me about a ghetto lift kit. Isnt' there some way to shove cylinder blocks in your springs to give the truck a lift? That'd be sweet!

I'm thinking you're kidding. If not, you got some really, really bad advice :-)

I have heard of people using hockey pucks and using those for a body lift kit. Just drill a hole out in the middle and install them as spacers where the cab & box attach to the frame. I wouldn't recommend that though... but it is kinda ghetto.

they make a couple cheap pieces of rubber that my do somthin for you but they fall out and will mess with your alignment. i wouldnt reccomend it or anything else that would have the word Ghetto, Rig, chevrolet or anything else implying a low quality of work with a high likelyhood of failing. its about $100 for a leveling kit i would look into that.
