I got em on my and think therre great. easy to install and strong. will support a 250 lb man with ease. I got mine for less. I ordered my thru checker auto, when they arrived the box was crushed and tore open. upon inspection they, one of the bares was scrached up and soome of the mounting hard ware was mising. so the manager gave me a 40 % discount. the scrach was on the inside of the bar so it was not visable, and three dollars spent at ace replaced the lost nuts and bolts. buy them you'll like em

I've had Westin Signature Series on my 97 F150 since it was new, have gone through 2 sets so far. They install well, are strong, but the paint job (claimed to be powder coated but I doubt it) does not last. If you only expect to get about 4 years out of them before they rust then go for it. My current set has rusted through in many spots - not just surface rust but actual holes. This is the second set I put on, I'll buy another because the bars will be easy to bolt on to the existing brackets which I won't replace. First set did the same thing by 4 years old.

they say that there's a lifetime warrenty, wouldn't that be covered?

my bad, i didn't realize they had so many models. these westin oval step tubes do have a lifetime warrenty. more money, but if d.g.bowen has had to replace them every four years then maybe it's worth it. 288.00 for my scab, i think it was around 270.00 for your regular cab. i'm gonna keep looking, but this website is at least 40 bucks cheaper so far. i've always wanted some, think i might buy em when i get paid.

Thanks for the info, everyone. The price I quoted was in CAD, which would work out to be about $160 USD. I'll have to do my best to keep 'em clean, to slow down the rust, hopefully.
At least the blk. ones can be re-painted, if need be....:D

Paint the inside that you can reach ,then when dry I would spray with wd-40 and oil mix, roll around then pour out extra if you want ,I left it in the tubes. Got 6 years so far(on my jeep) and I just touch up the outside with paint, when I scratch them on rocks or stumps
