I just got a 2006 F-150 XLT. How do you adjust the drivers seat back? There are no buttons on the seat so I assume it doesn't have powes adjustable seats. The owners manual says there is a bar in front to pull to release the seat. There is a bar on the passenger seat but not one on the drivers seat? Does this seat move? The drivers seat is all the way forward and I'm 6'-6" tall. I can't drive this thing this way! HELP!

I have the same truck. The drivers seat adjustment should be in the same place under the seat the passenger side one is.

Anything is possible though.

You can see a picture of the seats here: http://www.f150store.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=52339 You can see all 3 of the adjustment knobs/levers on the side of the seat and there is no bar across the front. No buttons for power seats either.

Look under neath the pass. seat and see where the adjusting bar attatches. Then look at drivers seat, and see if you can figure out at least a one time adjustment. anything is better than all the way forwards.

rpc....are you able to take a pic of your seat??? it would make it a lot easier to figure this out. Do you have any items at all on the door side of the drivers seat (excluding the reclining lever)?
