| When I had my external one, I put it where I could sneak the wires inside the radio bezel then ran the wire though and over the steering colum behind the cover just below the gauges. I used an add a fuse for the power instead of using the cigarette lighter and ran my antenna wire through the door jamb, up and back to the middle of the headliner, then snaked it out through the cyclopes light. Of course, I started from the back and worked forward, but I imagine you got that figured out. Hope this helps.
