I had a 01 4.6 xlt and drove it to the dirt! I now have an 07 5.4 Lariat 4x4. Would the results of an intake, exhaust, throttle body spacer have a negative effect on the 5.4 engine?

absolutely not. it would greatly benefit you. you'll have some people tell you that the throttle body spacer is a waste, but, from personal experience, i find that when paired with the larger throttle body, it works quite well.

I have only heard negative things about TB spacers.

Haven't heard anything positive at all about the TB spacers on the 5.4L. Everyone who claims an improvement only cites the butt dyno as proof, no real HP numbers before/after to back it up. Intake/Exhaust/Edge or Gryphon Programmer seem to be the mods of choice to open up 40 horses or so.

The only positive thing was it does make a good paper weight for ya, LMAO! Your intake CAI, and exhaust, and programmer is where your results are gonna be, what a waste of money for those TB spacers. Dyno machine proven to be worthless!
