| I just noticed that on my 'new' 06 Lariat, that the rear bumper is slightly mis-aligned. It is too far to the right. I need to move it about 1/2" to the left. Is this easy? and how would I go about this? (as you can tell I know little to nothing about fixing trucks-willing to learn however!)
Thanks,
Steve |

| crawl underneath it.......you will see some bolts holding the bumper on. Loosen them and re-align bumper......simple as that:) |

| Yeah like he said, if you look under there its pretty simple. Also what did you mean by "new?" |

| Oh ok, was it body lifted or anything? I know when I lifted my last truck I had to realign everything on the body like that. |

| What does that mean exactly? I don't know for sure what has been done to it. No major work was disclosed to me by the dealership. I've had it since the 23rd of last month. 40,000 miles. Drives beautifully. Love it. After a while you begin noticing every little detail/fault... no matter how minor, you want it fixed.

| Yeah I understand, I just thought if it had been lifted it might have been slightly off when it was put back on. It may have been taken off for a previous repair and not been aligned properly. Anyways, it should be an easy fix. I know I noticed everything like that on my new one. |

| Someone mentioned that it's not so simple or even possible with the Tow Package installed... Is this true?
Thanks,

| ....well I have the tow package on mine and adjusted the bumper without any trouble. It was low on the driver's side almost 3/4"......took a bit of muscle to loosen the bolts but other than that it was pretty quick and easy.
I'll have to check again but maybe a sideways adjustment isn't possible.....just get under there and have a look! |

| I had my rear bumper aligned and moved over as well and I watched them do it, theres 3 bolts on each side so a total of 6 bolts to loosen ok just loosen them dont take'em out and slide it over there's about 3/4 inch of play area either side to side and up and down. Your tow package has nothing to do with it. Front bumper I did myself, 2 bolts on each side of bumper total 4 bolts loosen and adjusted no problem and you can do this with a Spark plug socket and ratchet and by yourself, but better if someone is watching to make sure it's level before tightening. Easy stuff here! Good luck _________________ 08' F-150 XLT 5.4L Super Crew 4x2
