Any recommendation how to remove the radio from my Lariat 2000 4x4. I have read that apparently could be easy to remove the bezel. But what happen with the 4x4 electronic switch which is installed on the bezel. I would appreciate any recommendation.

if you are going to replace it quickly just let it hange by the wires of the 4x4 switch. just put a towel behind the besel so it won't scratch anything. And yes the dash besel just pops off and the radio has 2 holes on each sides and you need radio removal keys autozone sells them 4 dollars put them in the holes and bend outwards and pull the radio out.

Bezel just snaps off, just be easy. Turn the air vents and gently pull. Wires on 4X4 switch are long enough for it to come off. As for the stereo, (if it's stock) you can buy a set of the U tools to fit in the four holes on the sides of the stereo, I've found that bent coat hangers work just as well though.
