Has any one ahd any experiance with a computer going bad on a 5.4 liter. Mine had to be towed last Friday and now my mechanic is telling me that the computer has gone bad. The tuck is a 2006 with 52000 miles on it. something doesn't seem right.
dont know if this helps or applies but my regular mechanic had to get a new code reader to read my truck - his older one would not hook up to my new truck at all _________________ an unloaded gun is just an expensive paperweight
Actually mine just went bad, it is now in the shop. How it started was I was running very poorly and had bank 1 and bank 2 running lean, then the other codes had to do with both oxygen sensors. I do have a post on here somewhere that states all the codes that came up. _________________ This is Ford country, and on a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust.
