| Hey guys, love this site! Anyway, I just bought the truck and want to reprogram the keypad but I can't find the factory code ANYWHERE!! It is driving me nuts! I have read that it is on the computer module by my dumb a$$ has now clue where the module is located. I was assuming the module maybe was the port for the computer reader but I literally have no clue. I have also read that it is located to the left or right of the steering wheel on the computer but I have almost disassembled the entire dash and can't find it. Please Help???!!!??? |

| Dukcutter,
Try looking in the owner's manual, in the 07 it's a blue & while plastic credit card thing. Course I carry the card in my wallet now but wrote the #'s in the manual. If you find no joy looking there think it's a trip to the dealer. |

| Thanks guys, no card in the manual and I couldn't find it written anywhere. I called the dealer with no help. They want me to come in and have them do a $90 diagnostic to find it and program it for me for another nice fee. |

| You will have to have a dealer hook up the computer and pull the code out that way. We had the same issue with a 2005 Eddie Bauer Explorer when we bought it used. _________________ Pat |

| If you have a regular cab, the module is behind the left rear interior quarter trim panel. The code should be affixed to the module.
If you have a supercab or supercrew the module is behind the driver side rear passenger seat mounted on the cabin rear wall. |

| OK now the real question, how do I get back there. I have a supercrew and the back seat back doesnt fold down, the seats themselves fold up. So what do I do? |

Where did you buy the truck at a Ford dealer? If so they should not charge you for it. I bought my 08' new off the lot and I did not have the card either and mine was new too, anyways drove over to service they pulled the codes in 20 minutes NO CHARGE and was outta there. Just go to a dealer and get it done. Funny how I never messed with the darn keyless entry code as of yet. _________________ 08' F-150 XLT 5.4L Super Crew 4x2

| I went to the local dealership and they pulled it for me free of charge. It only took about 5-10 minutes |

| I use the keyless entry all the time. I throw my wallet, keys, id, etc in the console, change into a wetsuit, grab the board, kids, beach stuff & hit the beach. Don't have to worry about loosing anything on the beach, just have to punch in a few #'s & I'm in. Pretty useful option for me. |
