| I'm looking to buy a Edge Evolution programmer and i was just wondering if it is really worth it.Does it really give me 35hp and increase fuel economy? It seems like it would be pretty neat, and i could use it as a rpm gauge since my truck doesn't have one. _________________ 2007 XL Triton 4.6 4x4 |

| I don't know if it adds 35HP. You will feel a difference when you use it. I also am getting better gas mileage. _________________ I'd rather walk than drive a chevy |

| its worth it..i have a 2007 stx with the 4.6...these 5.4 guys think they are cool and what not but i smoked a 5.4 the other day..i run my edge on level two and get better gas mileage..my other mods are an s@b cold air intake and a cherry bomb extreme muffler..the edge is wonderful..ya it prolly wont give you up to 35hp but it will unleash your engine.. i run a 7.8sec 0-60 time now instead of like 10 sec..also if you plan on bigger tires or lift the edge will make up the power that you will lose..i pai 390 for mine on jegs.com..its worth it.. |

| yes..its worth it..since your tires are so big, your gas mileage has prolly gone down..on the highway, setting 1 will save tons of gas, and i mean that. and level 2, since your tires are 35's and i assume you crawl through mud and what not, it will give you more torque and pull..and level 3 would allow to throw that mud around with no prob. |

....well I do think I am cool, but not because I have the 5.4.
If you are running 7.8 0to60 with your 4.6....than that is very good and I am impressed. But sorry, you will not smoke my 5.4 |

I know, I know Spyder.....I was trying not to be rude. His truck is not the one with the 35's though, it's the other guy. Either way, there's no way his 4.6 runs 7.8 to 60. He's forgetting what website he's on! |

| hey i never said i would smoke everyones or anyones 5.4, i said i smoked A 5.4...and yes i do run that in a 0-60..no i do not have 35's..and mi dads a mechanic tweaks with mi truck once in a while. so that will explain the 0-60time..ya i would love to have a 5.4 and mess with that macho engine, but when i can get work done on mi 4.6 and be just a fast if not faster at times, id rather do that..im not trying to start an argument or say bullshit..and im am certain that theres alot of 5.4's that would whoop mi as*...but i was simply telling the original guy that it is worth for a 4.6 to have an edge.it will help in the mud, and with his gas mileage for those monster tires..thanks.. |
