Going through Haynes, I need to do a check with the computer (EEC-IV) relay. But I can't find the relay. Any body have an 86, 302, EFI that might know where it's located and maybe what it looks like? Thanks all.

I have an 89 EFI 302 and the relay is attached to the backside of the air cleaner assembly. It is in a box with another relay and has a bunch of wires coming out of it. It is probably in the same spot on your truck too. If not, someone please correct me. Hope this helps

Yep. Hangs in a row w/ another relay that looks the same except color & some test ports. relays @ 1 1/4 in. square w/6-7 wire connector socket attached at their base. 1 is brown/ 1 is hunter green. You want the green one (If your color blind, your screwed!) under a thick molded rubber shroud. What are you suppose to check, a minimum 10.5v pulse? recommend not to dis/reconnect while circuit energized. There is a crapload of circuit connections in that area just beggin for a contact cleaner douche w/ a dielectric grease chaser. If you decide to, disconnect battery first. happy hunting!
