If I get a 3" body lift will that level out the truck or do I also have to get a leveling kit?

You'll need a leveling kit if you wanna level your truck out. Think about it, the body lift lifts your whole body 3" all the way around. Your suspension is what is uneven on the truck. Not being a smartass sorry if it sounds that way.

Not sure but i think some suspension kits accomodate for the lower front end by a little more lift in the front, this might be why you see some trucks that look lower in the rear. Meaning the wrong kit was purchased. They'll tell you its for that pre-runner/baja look haha. Maybe BigMatt knows something about this.

i think some lift kits are made to level it out but people add a leveling kit just to get another 1" or 2 ".. some kits are 6" in the front and 4" in the rear which would level it out but add the spacers and the front end sits 1" higher like the prerunners just a thought!

As everyone has said you will need a leveling kit.

Exactly...you've got it. I personally prefer a levelled truck. As you can prob tell
